Lake Erie 6000 ton Closed Die Forging Press

Manufacturer: Lake Erie (model 6000EHP)
Rated forge tonnage: 6,000 ton
Ram stroke: 48.0"

Ejector stroke: 10"

Platen depth: 60"
Height above floorline: 30 feet
Depth below floorline: 16.5 feet

This 6000t Closed Die Type Press is equipped with a Crown Mounted Hydraulic System. It was upgraded in the 1990's and is in excellent working condition. "Center Load" is extremely accurate. It is equipped with Oilgear "D" Pumps. Shut height is 24", Ram diameter is 74" and Tie Rod diameter is 20-1/2". It may be inspected under power on request.
