Specialized screw for extremely consisten pressure
profile in high pressure foam and low pressure
non-foam applications. Unit can be reduced to
36:1.
- 27mm Liestritz ZSE-27mm modular/multi mode twin
screw extruder system. Up to 70 lbs/hr. Counter
rotating intermeshing convertible to co-rotating.
Water cooled system with discrete controllers
available.
- Gas injection unit - Sencorp CO2 laboratory
pumping and metering system up to 10 lbs/hr with
P.I.D. controller. Feeds single screw extruder
with all safety and monitoring equipment.
- Sheet Die - HD-40 Masterflex 10" wide. 5-20 ml
foamed or non-foamed sheet. Die is hot heated
with Sterlco Compact Temperature Controller, 550
degrees F max. temperature. 3 extra sets-die lips.
-Calender & Rewind Unit: Custom built 3-roll
calendering stack & rewind unit with digital
drives. 6" dia. SS water-heated rolls. 3 Thermal
Care temperature control units, moveable on tracks
- Heating & Cooling units: Small AEC Chiller for
single screw, 10 Ton AEC Chiller for single screw
and roll heaters. All PLC controlled.
- PLC, Transformers & Drives: Siemans TI 545 PLC
w/505 I/O rack system in 60" tall cabinet.
Computer - Texas Microsystem w/passive backplane.
Touch screen - Mitsubishi 20" Microtouch. Control
all heating & cooling in both extruders and drive
speeds, control material input and monitors
pressures with total E-Stop control. Total view
of operation on one scree.
