Process for pure grade separation of PET :
PET bottles compressed to bales are delivered to a bale unraveler to be detached.
The loose material is sent through a magnetic separator on a conveyor belt. In the following process
the material is ground in a wet-grinding mill and thoroughly cleaned in the following washing unit.
After precleaning the material is stirred into water in a mixing container. This mixture of solid - liquid matter
is fed by a pump into a separation container. The material can now separate in a setting-zone of the container
in relation to the specific gravity of the separation medium. The light weight outlet at the top
and the heavy weight outlet at the bottom of the container feed the material to a drainage
and to the following dryer. The drained liquid is returned into the liquid circulation (water processing plant).
An extension of the plant with additional cleaning stages is possible as is individually desired.
The extrusion can take place using a standard screen for melt filtering.
